Job Description
We're seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of our flagship dining location. You will be the primary point of contact for all staff and will oversee the overall efficiency and success of the restaurant. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring they work together to create a cohesive and professional atmosphere. This includes recruiting, training, scheduling, and conducting performance reviews for team members. A significant part of the role is supervising customer interactions to ensure a high level of satisfaction and timely resolution of complaints. You will be expected to maintain a welcoming, friendly environment for guests and employees alike. Responsibilities include inventory management, supplier coordination, cost control, and managing vendor relationships. You’ll track food and labor costs, monitor budget performance, and implement strategies to meet revenue targets. Familiarity with modern POS systems and reservation software is essential, and comfort analyzing reports and metrics is expected. The role also includes monitoring compliance with all health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and labor laws. You will develop daily, weekly, and monthly operational goals to keep the restaurant on track. Leadership skills, excellent time management, and the ability to multitask during high-volume shifts are critical to success in this position. You’ll work closely with marketing and promotions staff to design events and special offerings. A strong ability to coach and mentor team members will set you apart, as will a focus on fostering internal growth. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and inspiring workplace culture that encourages accountability and pride. Candidates should have at least 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with a proven track record of results. A strong understanding of both culinary and service processes is necessary. This is a full-time position that includes weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts.
